Position Overview:
We are actively seeking a Pre-Construction Manager/Planner to join and expand the company’s pre-construction department. This critical role involves leading project teams to deliver comprehensive pre-construction services for design-build projects. The ideal candidate will be a key facilitator, involved from the initial project concept through design, permitting, and pricing, working closely with various internal and external stakeholders. We are open to a broad range of experience levels for this position, from entry-level juniors to seasoned professionals with 10-15+ years of experience.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible to:
·Contribute to the overall project strategy and play an integral role in executing the strategy.
·Organize multiple team members.
Engage and coordinate the expertise from each member of the design build team.
Function as client liaison to ensure client expectations and goals are properly identified and met.
Function as the main communication link with all project resources both internal and external.
Function as lead communicator to ensure all required meetings are scheduled and the appropriate team members are invited and in attendance in accordance with processes and procedures.
Hold weekly client meetings with the Project Architect/Captain during design development.
Attends:
Client sales meetings and presentations.
Internal strategy meetings to develop creative strategies and schedules to meet clients’ needs.
Schedules:
Internal project review meetings.
Client meetings.
Consultant meetings.
Collaborates with:
Client to establish project scope.
Design team to define project scope.
Design build subcontractors and vendors to generate project scope and pricing.
Construction team to establish construction schedules, means and methods, and logistics.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience, in Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar technical degree.
Familiarity with building systems technology
Willingness to learn and grow with the Corporation
A strategic thinker with high organizational skills
Working knowledge of MS Office products, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
Must be detail oriented
Excellent communication skills
Well organizational and multi-tasking abilities
